A memorial service for our Managing Director, Gretta Fenner, was held on Wednesday, 8 May at 14:00 CEST at the Grossmünster in Zurich, and streamed live for those unable to attend in person.

The two-hour service was a beautiful occasion for the hundreds of family members, friends, colleagues and partners to come together and share their grief at her passing.

The service, in German and English, featured music, dance and moving speeches by Gretta's partner Christian Wenaweser and by the Basel Institute's President Peter Maurer. View Peter Maurer's speech.

In lieu of flowers, Gretta's family requested that donations can be made to support the tennis club in Nairobi, which Gretta helped to set up and where her son Lukas had a wonderful time earlier this year.
